Changing Landscapes
It's amazing how much the landscape of Singapore could change in just 6 months. I saw a HDB block i've never seen before when i left emerging outside my kitchen window. I saw a few new buildings when walking along Orchard Road today. Gosh... the speed of changing landscapes in Singapore is indeed astonishing.
For people interested to find out more about my 3-week Europe trip, please find the link to your right. Have to apologise that it might take some time for me to update it completely.
Humidity Kills
It's a good thing that i return home when it's the beginning of summer in London. At the very least, i won't have to suffer the extreme temperature shock from the large diurnal range. And i guess the weeks spent at the Adriatic coast of Croatia and Montenegro as well as Bosnia and Hercegovina (28-32 deg celsius) aided the re-adaptation process. However, it is just so humid and i couldn't help feeling sticky already.
Was drop-jawed at the price hike of cab rides. My usual fare of less than 20 bucks from Changi Airport to Holland Avenue has turned out to be a whooping 32 bucks. Gosh, that's a 38 percent increase man. That will definitely be my last time taking a cab in Singapore.
Got posted to Clementi Town Sec School for my MOE attachment. Hmmm... interesting
