Happy Chinese New Year!!
SOunds of fire crackers woke me up from bed. Argh... just remembered it was the second day of CNY. Kind of lost touch of the days here liao... everyday seemed to be the same to me. In a few hour's time, i will be going off to Taipei and no more sickening ta pao food for breakfast lunch and dinner. Yippee!!
28 days to EOT... and 59 days to ORD...
mood already...
frankly speaking, i had no idea what i'll do when i get back.

some thots
I happened to get a chance to drive a Mitsubishi Lancer up to Kaohsiung City a few days ago. To me, it was rather stressful. For those who have experienced the traffic in KHH City would agree with me on that. The MALAO driving they called it.
Anyway, SSG HO, Ah TONG, Alvin and I went to this really cool pet shop. It is no ordinary pet shops you find in S'pore. It sells exotic pets like King Snake, chameleons, geikos, centipedes, tarantula, boars, octopus etc. I had lotsa fun handling the reptiles, though i kept confirming with the shopkeeper if they will bite or not. hee hee. I really have fallen in love with the chameleon... it was so cute... SO CUTE!!! argh... I WANT ONE!!! a pity i did not take a photo of it... sigh

Life has been pretty boring for me these few days. Everyone is busy preparing for LRI and quite a significant percentage of the camp has gone back for homeleave. Oh man... i could smell the foul smell of decomposition emitting out of me. Thank goodness for the Taipei trip coming up or else i will juz rot and decay in my bunk. The wind has been really strong lately... howling and howling like no one's business from day to nite. Even though the afternoon sun is pretty scorchy, the strong wind sends a chill right down to your very spine... brrrr... cold man... like around 16 deg lidat.
Haven't been working in the medical centre for so long... couldn't be bothered to. Guess the EOT and ORD mood has finally seeped into me. ORD LOH!! Frankly speaking, i am not exactly glad that i'm EOTing soon. In fact, i wouldn't mind signing on to ARMY if i get to stay in ROC throughout my entire working life. But of cos i know that is impossible. How could i even have the slightest thought of signing on? Please slap me back to reality! Hoho... sorry guys, spouting nonsense again. I'm not as insane as Kay Wee... =P
i will miss Taiwan...
definitely...
this place is my 2nd home...
CR Dinner
For those who are serving NS in S'pore, the term CR might be unfamiliar to you. However, if you are one of those fortunate ones to serve NS overseas, the term CR should not be an alien term. So what exactly is CR?
CR = Commmunity Relation (mostly dinner functions)
its main purpose is to boost the relationship with the local communities
of cos... its dark purpose is that of a political issue...
now then, why the heck am i talking about CR?
this afternoon i was called by RSM to attend a CR Dinner with him alongside with 2 others. THis CR Dinner was organised by NEI SHI ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. THe reason i got invited? Cos i teach English there every week.... to the aboriginals kiddos.
Frankly speaking, i really dislike CR Dinners. Events like this shows a real ugly side of Taiwanese. I'm not trying to start a war here, but it's these experiences that makes me realise Singaporeans are actually gentle lot of people. Ok... dishes and dishes of delicacies streamed in in large quantity... with only 6 pax in a 12 pax table, there's just too much food. Also, the t-nese love to gan1 bei1. my friends and i had glasses and glasses of Gao1 Liang2 during the dinner. Fortunately i did not drink so much at the start of the dinner, using coconut juice as substitute so i didn't get drunk. My friend, however, had his face red like a tomato. gee...
CR Dinners ought to be siam-ed
your liver is at stake...

u noe... this always happens to me when i blog. I have million tons of things to say, but am just too lazy to type them out in words. To be exact, i'm too lazy to even use my brain cells to put those thoughts in words. Therefore i must apologise for my bad command of English that will leave any Primary School kids proud that they have overtaken me in terms of English standard. sigh... goodness... why am i even typing all these crap? must be the caffeine overdose... argh... i hate coffee... coffee makes me groggy and grumpy...
photos... YES!! photos...
don't they often say a picture means a thousand words?
yeah... i'd rather place photos in my blog then to post a blog entry.
could't be bothered to...
1)find a bombastic word to carry my meaning across
2)check for grammatical errors
3)check tenses
4)think of crap to type
5)spell bombastic words
6)use a literary sentence structure
aiyah...
i'm a typical lao2 bai3 xing4....
wat's the word they love to use?...i kindof forgot...
homedweller? commoner? heartlanders... yah... got it... HEARTLANDERS...
well... i'm proud to be one...
cos at least i have a heart...
for the cosmopolitans... they only have cosmetics... so fake... wear mask
i prefer to be human... with a heart... then with a powdered face.
ok...here i am... drunk with caffeine spouting garbage once again...
pardon me...
hoho...
but at least i know i won't puke this time... heh heh *wink*
alrite alrite...

Long Absence
At long last, my final year exam is over... to h*** with QMSA woohoo!!
Just when i thought i could finally take a break, i seemed to forget that i still have lotsa secondary appointments to deal with. Argh!!!
oh well...
out of goodwill, and of cos to repay Adrian for his kindness and courage of donating his arm to contribute to my 'one-shot one-kill" successful IV during QMSA, i went to help out in the VESPA store. And goodness me i almost concussed trying to figure out wipers, bulbs and washers.
not much pic to put up... due to the fact that i've been stayin in camp alot... to save money for my upcoming trip to taipei.
and of cos... i'm planning a road trip to Alishan soon...
hopefully it can materialise...
in the mean time...
i shall juz enjoy being an 'old bird' here... hee hee
