My Driving Test
I had my driving test (practical) this morning. And all i can say right now is... I've PASSED!!! I got my license.... YEAH!!!
Today's drive back to Heng Chun from Ping Tung was superb. Drove through the crowded city... and zooming down the Freeway at 120km/h-130km/h overtaking cars... woo hoo... i might sound like a mountain tortoise but for a newbie like me... pls understand. *heh*
我好盼望能快点儿驾车上高雄.好兴奋哦!
Night's Out
Superb supper last nite at Heng Chun.
We took so many dishes... like 10 plus of them plus 4 bowls of porridge and guess what... it only cost each of us like 5 sing dollars...
the food was so full of home-cooked flavour
kind of missed my mama's cooking...
sigh
Hope
i really hope i can pass my driving test at the end of this month.

Nan Wan / Kenting Outing
it has been so long since i went to Nan Wan to surf. And knowing that the weather will turn cold in a few weeks time, it seemed to be a last chance for me to go to the beach to enjoy the waves and most importantly... the sunlight. Yeah... so in the end 4 mad ppl (Elton, Adrian, Eric and I) went down despite of the heavy traffic flow and luo4 shan1 feng1. gee...
the water was freezing cold... and the cold breeze did not help much either... but the waves were present nevertheless... though not as strong and powerful as last time. After the surf, we went to Kenting to have our dinner. And it was super crowded man... The wait for the bus was horrendous... it should be time for Taiwan to re-structure their transport system... sigh...
alright... another day of off before i get down to work...
really gonna miss waking up so late... as i wish...

3 bodysurfing dudes at Nan Wan... hee hee

Halfway from Nei Shi back to camp
Remember the cheng2 yu3 called zhu1 peng2 gou3 you3?? This is the best example... Haha... Dun bash me up Eric... i dun wanna break ur bones... hee =P Anyway we were on our way back from teaching English at Nei Shi Primary School. Have to say the scenary back is really great... hope to be able to take more photos nxt time. A familiar road for me nonetheless for it's the way to go Kaoshiung.

Black Out
I couldn't seem to remember what exactly happened but i blacked out while running a camp relay today. I guess it must be bcos of the fact that i was the last runner and i was nervous plus a bit of low blood and cooling down, i blacked out after my run uphill. What a place to land... right in the middle of a cemetery... sigh...
I guess if not for my usual fast running (that drives ppl to think that it was impossible for me to run so slow) i guess they wouldn't have searched for me. Thank God they found me... u guess it's just fatique that's all. Have to thank my campmates for showering me with such care and concern...
Shan't piah too hard next time...

1st drive on the real road
As usual, i went down to Heng Chun for my driving practice. When i reached the driving centre, my coach asked me to start a car and wait for him. After i started the car, David came and sat down in the passenger seat... a few moment later, another taiwanese guy came and sat down in the passenger seat. The coach joined in by sitting beside me next.
At first i thought we would be driving around the circuit... probably picking out my mistakes along the way so that everyone can learn... but before i could come to any conclusion, i was at the exit of the driving centre. What the coach said to me next came as a great shock.
(in mandarin) "we are going to kenting."
i stared at him wide-eyed...
(in mandarin) "coach, are you serious?"
well...i had only got used to the steering wheel and the changing of gear during the last lesson and now i had to face the real road? This is TAIWAN!! not S"PORE... the road here is mah jiam NO GAHMEN one... but too bad lah... have to continue...
so i went along... shift from gear 1 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 4 and before i knew it... i realised i was cruising at 100km/h. it was so shiok!! overtaking cars and all... and after 10 min or so... i was at Kenting. I couldn't believe i actually survived passing thru the crowded night market... WOOHOO!!! actually driving a car isn't so hard after all... heh...
ok ok...i might sound very suah koo (mountain tortoise) to those ppl who already had their license... but for a newbie like me it was really shiok...heh...
