Tsunamis

Just when I was expecting the next coming of the El Nino event (probably witin the next 6 yr frame as El Nino occurrences take place roughly every three to four years, but the interval can vary between two years and a decade and the last time it did was in 1997), this gigantic tsunamis came crashing down this year, causing massive destruction and loss to human lives. The death toll of this unprecedented global catastrophe now reaches an alarming rate of 125 000, and i am sure that this statistic will continue to climb due to the lack of sanitation, fresh water supply, shelter, healthcare facilities, difficulties in handling the dead bodies etc which will lead to a possible outbreak of diseases claiming more lives.

At a time like this, the victims need all the help they can get from the world. It saddens me for such catastrophe to happen, and my heart mourns for them. Let us fork out whatever we have to help those in need.

Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9:7

Blessed are those who mourn
for they will be comforted
